Buildings with gas piping (except one- and two-family homes) need a periodic gas piping inspection by a licensed master plumber every four years. Deliver the annual notice to every unit asking whether a child lives there (window guards for children 10 and under; lead paint for children under 6 in pre-1960 buildings), then follow up on units that don't return it by mid-February. Agency page
