Hear about a violation the morning after it's issued, not when the fine arrives.

$1,000sA single ECB/OATH violation can carry penalties in the thousands, and missing the hearing can make it worse.
10recurring city filings we track, each on its own date or cycle: FISP, LL152, LL97, HPD registration and more.
DailyWe re-check city records for your buildings every morning.
$19a month for one building. Less a building on portfolio plans.
How it works
1. Look up your building
Type the address. You'll see open violations from four city systems, penalties still owed and the deadlines that likely apply, worked out from the building's size, height, units and tax block.
2. Watch it
Create a free account and add the building. Paid plans check it every day; the free plan checks weekly.
3. Get the email
When something new shows up, a DOB or HPD violation, an ECB summons with a hearing date, a DOB NOW Safety violation, you get a plain-English email with what it is and where to look.

NYC Open Data, published by the Department of Buildings, HPD and City Planning. It's the same public record the agencies use, updated by the city most days. We don't scrape anything private.
How fast will I hear about a new violation?
On a paid plan we check every morning, so you'll usually hear about a violation the morning after it appears in the city's open data. Some agencies post with a delay of a few days; we can't be faster than the city publishes.
Are the deadlines exact for my building?
They're the standard rules applied to the building's public attributes (height, floor area, units, tax block, community district). Exemptions and extensions vary, so treat them as reminders and confirm with DOB, HPD or your expediter.
Can you fix or dismiss violations?
No. FineAlert tells you what's open and what's coming up. Resolving violations is done with the agency, usually through a licensed professional or expediter.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your account. You keep alerts until the end of the month you've paid for.
